Habitat Information:

Geographic Distribution: North-Central Sumatra

Elevation: Roughly 3000-4500 ft

Blooming Season (Northern Hem.): Early Summer (June and July)

Light requirements: bright, diffuse light

Temperatures : Intermediate

Substrate: Naturally grown in deep humus atop deteriorated sandtone. This medium will drain very well.

Water:

Humidity: High humidity year round.

Grow dryer and a little brighter in the late spring and summer, during the plant's blooming season. During the dry season in this area of Sumatra, the clouds are less numerous, producing somewhat dryer conditions and more sunlight.
